Ober Gatlinburg adds new signage, displays and informational video monitors

In an ongoing earnest effort to continually improve and simplify the customer experience at Ober Gatlinburg, many new informational, instructional and demonstrative fixtures have been added.

O’Bear (Ober’s Mascot) Ride Restriction signage has been added at most ride/attraction locations and ticket sales areas to better inform Guests of those requirements.  Also, a new sign placed atop the Ski Mountain Coaster/Snow Tubing building will help Guests to better locate those rides/attractions from a distance.

New video monitors have been placed in multiple strategic locations on the mountain, providing more legible and complete information about tickets, schedules, etc … other new monitors in the Ski Mountain Coaster/Snow Tubing building provide helpful instruction for the new Coaster.

New Ski Mountain Coaster displays have been installed in window boxes both downtown in the Tramway Mall and in the Main Lodge Hallway on the mountain, including video monitors playing ride footage along with other information about that ride.

And last (for the moment) but definitely not least, a big new “Photo-Op” display placed in the Tramway Mall downtown, providing Guests with a “hands-on” opportunity to climb into a Ski Mountain Coaster Cart and an Alpine Slide Sled.
