Sevier County Mask Order Extended Through April 15, 2021

Sevier County has made the decision to extend its mask mandate through April 15, 2021. Sevier County Mayor Larry Waters signed Executive Order 65 on Feb. 27, which is an extension of the mask mandate. The mandate requires face coverings in all public indoor areas and businesses. The new order was announced as a response to the increase in cases in the county and region.

  • Mandatory use of masks for all indoor front-line, food service and janitorial employees.
  • Temperature checks on employees where temperatures of 100.4 degrees or higher must be sent home.
  • Social distancing guidelines for both employees and guests with increased signage.
  • Increased janitorial cleaning.
  • Decreasing points of contact for payments by wiping down card readers with cleaning solution after every purchase and offering hand sanitizer to employees and guests during each transaction.
  • Employees have received training on COVID19 health and safety guidelines.

Ober Gatlinburg encourages all its employees and guests to work together to create an environment that follows the recommendations of the state government and health organizations. Ober Gatlinburg continues to strive to educate employees and guests on health safety protocols while creating a fun environment to enjoy to Gatlinburg

Ober Gatlinburg is complying with Sevier County’s Mask Mandate for all indoor venues.

Masks are required for indoor attractions and facilities. This includes the Aerial Tramway. Once outside, guests may choose to take off their mask but must be ready to put it back on when going back indoors. Please note our Ice-Skating Rink and Ice Bumper Cars are indoor attractions.

We respectfully ask that you comply with Sevier Counties mandate. We cannot allow you to enter the property without a mask. This is not unique to Ober Gatlinburg. The mandate is countywide and includes every business.
