Ober Gatlinburg strives to support local organizations within the community. We’ve worked with The Boys & Girls Club of the Smoky Mountains, The Mountain Hope Good Shepherd Clinic, Sevier Humane Society, and even Sevier County Food Ministries. We believe in community over competition, and so, we aim to build a strong community by giving to our neighbors.
Each year we host a Ladies Night and a College Night benefitting the Sevier County Food Ministries. During these days, we accept donations of either funds or food. These proceeds go to SCFM so they may fulfill their mission to help families in need.
A letter was written by Jim Davis, the Director of Sevier County Food Ministries, thanking us for our contribution to their mission.
“Fact. Ober Gatlinburg ROCKS! Once again, Ober Gatlinburg has blessed SCFM beyond measure with Ladies Night and College Night activities benefitting SCFM. We collected non-perishable items as well as cash to buy three tons of cans from Second Harvest. For each person involved, we are thankful. God bless Ober Gatlinburg. We are thankful it was a good season.”
